A browlift can make you look more youthful and less sleepy, angry, or depressed, by removing lines and wrinkles in your forehead. Eyebrows are typically raised during a browlift to make you look years younger.

Candidates for browlifts are typically 40 to 60 years old and want to remove wrinkles in the forehead. Whether these lines are from repetitive behaviors with your muscles or inherited, the browlift can help. If you’re interested in seeing how the browlift can dissolve your forehead wrinkles, schedule a consultation with our expert advocates.

Detailed Procedural Info

The browlift can be performed in office under local anesthesia or IV sedation. Patients can either have a traditional browlift, where excess skin and tissue is removed and the patient will have a scar near the hairline, or they can have an endoscopic browlift. The second procedure includes three to five short incisions behind the hairline to have the same effects as the first procedure. The doctor will choose which procedure will work best for you based on your desired results. What to Expect

Prior to the procedure, you will have a consultation with one of our expert advocates to discuss your goals, concerns, and desired results. Then the doctor will meet with you to review your consultation and discuss the realistic outcomes you can expect after your browlift.

After either procedure, you can expect numbness and some discomfort at the incision sites. You may experience itching at the incision sites for up to three months. To reduce swelling you should elevate your head for two to three days. Within two weeks any stitches and screws are removed. In one to two days, with both procedures, you should be back on your feet and able to wash your hair again. Some patients can even begin working again in seven to ten days. Any remaining bruising or swelling will dissipate by the third week.
